Was in Road today at lunchtime. picked up Josef k Cd and Joy Division box set. No Indie Irish stuff as i thought you guys would want to buy your own or off each other. Did look for Richer than Astronauts mind. Superb band.

Good luck to Road.

You can add these to the list.

Thinguma*jigsaw
Wyntr Ravn
United Bible Studies (Deserted Village releases Only)
Wereju A Strange Dark Place (Deserted Village releases Only)

This is a killer blow. So many people have picked up on our releases simply from hearing them played in their shop. There's nowhere else they would've heard them.
We can only add our voice testifying to Dave & Julie's soundness and wishing the three of them the best for the future.

While no shop has championed Irish independent music as much as Road there's still places like Freebird who stock local bands.

think there might be a few Electronic Sensoria Band(e+s=b) cds left in there so you can count us in too

to those of you reading this having followed the link in your latest thumped spam email:

ah sure, it just makes it seem a bit more personal :)

Road is out of MDR, Spook of The Thirteenth Lock and Jimmy Cake.

Are the bands likely to drop in more copies to road?

I was in on Saturday and Dylan was saying they weren't taking any more stock.

This is not what Dave told me... Those three bands especially he was "hoping" might drop in more stock but he knew he couldn't ask because it was a favour...

If they do, I will be buying one copy of each (Spook / MDR / Jimmy Cake)
