My Proposals;

1. Make the Queen and President McAleese joint heads of state.

2. If the Assembly fails to agree on a First/Deputy First Minister, install Peter Hain as First Minister and Dermot Ahern as Deputy First Minister.

3. All MLAs to sign a declaration condenming attacks on Houses, Churches, GAA Pavillions, Orange Halls etc.

4. NI to have its own referendum on joining the Euro.

5. Fly both the Tricolour and the Union Jack outside Government Buildings.

*Possibly reminiscent of repressive eastern bloc regimes.

reminds me of what a friend of mine thinks

his two suggestions are:
-we should have bought the berlin wall

or

-we ashould just blow up the border and let NI float away

and if we lose bits of dundalk, well it's for the greater good
