Meh, if it was one of the other 4 I'd be more gutted. Not that I though JOR was crap or anything, but I always got them impression that it was always really gonna be a temporary thing for him to be in the band.

Yeh I never seen him as being a permanent thing either but yeh know he was god with them. Well Nurse wasnt great but Murray Street and NYC Ghosts and Flowers were amazing! Plus his production on all the albums he done with them kicked ass! He was quite good live as well!

THERE GOES THE MELODY THEN.... BACK TO THE NEW YORK NOISE. I'M A FAN OF MUSIC YOU CAN HUM OR SING YOURSELF. CALL IT OLD FASHIONED, CALL IT CRAZY, CALL IT AN OUL' DITTY DANCIN' IN THE STREET...
ON TOP OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!! ALLAHQUANDOOO!!!!!

I'd rather Kim left...

<takes cover>

oh you wag, you! kim is my favorite one!

i just downloaded a roy harper concert off dimeadozen there. it was recorded in japan earlier this month. its an ok gig - the recording quality is excellent and the song selection is good - How Does It Feel, I'll See You, North Country, Rushing Camerot, Pinches Of Salt, Highway Blues, Man In The Moon (new song), Pan (new song), The Monster, South Africa, One Of These Days In England, Drawn To The Flames (encore). I love Drawn To The Flames. Anyway, early on in the gig roy gives several instructions to the sound man and later explains that he just met him the day before and that all they did was discuss their earlier lives rather than prepare for the gig. Then he mentions the sound guys name! who is it only Jim O'Rourke!
