Here, anyone know if there is a notebook/word processer/textedit thingum available for the iPod Touch?

there aint at the minute..i was looking for the same thing. its just music, video and internet at the minute. no ical and stuff like that.
also if you havent played with it already, i couldnt imagine typing more than a few words on that keyboard thing. textedit be real handy for storing docs though.

but apparantly more and more web apps will be made available.

actually i think ical is on it. but i dont know if you can sync it with your ical on the puter.

if i get an itouch and hack the shit outta it..is there any potential problems that can cause? i presume you can reset the thing in itunes. and i seriously hope it doesnt do anything to your warranty?
what i want to know is why apple dont just call their products 'iWant'

I don't think they are being as heavy-handed with a hacked iPod Touch as they are with hacked iPhones.

My sisters fellah got one. It's cool. No signal in bandon co cork though...

well the wifi is dependent on whatever wifi there is in the area. its probably the one downfall. like to be able to send emails on the train or something would be amazing.
but yeah you have to just piggy back on whatever network is available.

so in bandon, your sisters fellah would have to have bband at home. or be in a cafe or building that has wifi access.
