Just watched the highlights of the Spurs match. Looked so much better with a front 3 Balotelli doesn't get enough goals, he should have had 3 today but you lot looked very very strong today. Ha, we pretty much stopped playing as soon as you posted that. we were well worth a 3-0 lead up until about 55 mins then we just went "fuck it they won't get 3 will they Tim ? Alright so lads take a break" our front 4 clocked out after an hour. There's a lot being made of the fact that we've already shipped 11 this season in 5 games. We've scored 13 ! Only Chelski have got more than us. It was a really weird game to watch. The back 4 or 6 did really well , but, playing out from the back like that only works if there's a bit more link up Miralles, McGeady and Naismith looked isolated at times, like they were taking a breather waiting for it to end. Still great result. Lille will be a different kettle of fish and we're gauranteed a stinker in Russia. Lots to be happy with though.

I think it's ring fenced and doesn't impact clubs that qualify through the league. Not sure what the story is if someone wins it and qualifies through the league too.

4 places for england. EL champ gets in, 4th place doesn't. They get 5 places if teams win both the CL and EL and finish outside the top 4.

Doesn't matter because we won't win anything this season and aren't ready for the CL yet. This happens us every time the new stadium comes up. It's finally going ahead and we collapse on the field.

We need few hundred million to get near the CL. Not the billions that Chelski or City have spent. But a couple of £10-20 million pound young players and we'd be a real threat.
