I have this Roland reverb thing, which is nice sometimes, when you want a very artificial kinda reverb. When you reset it to factory settings, the screen reads "Do NOT power off unit" .

All very well, but we had a power cut when I was resetting it and now the damn thing won't work! It powers up alright, but won't allow me to do anything. There's no override button on the unit and the standard memory reset function can't be accesed.

Details on the unit here.

Is it bust? Or could it be fixed?

Is it some kind of chip based unit? Could the firmware need updating?
(im no expert btw)

I don't think so. It's old enough. Problem is, it's stuck on one screen when you turn it on and it won't allow you to do anything.

Thanks though.
