All words that could describe both Serge and Chris de Burgh. Then the other day I was driving to Galway and the DJ of some local station fooled me by playing a Chris de Burgh song between Glen Campbell and Kenny Rogers. It was "Spainish Train". It was ridiculous, overblown and ambitious in the daftest possible way... I liked it.

Is Chris due a reappraisal? Am I just wrong? Am I banned?

There's a free CD of Chris deBurgh songs in the S'Indo today so we can all judge for ourselves... on second thoughts maybe buying the SIndo is objectionable as Chris De Burgh's rep...
