the I&W postal service cover is on the cd ep of such great heights by da-da...the postal service!...the shins also cover a tune...
the stereolab cover is on that new rough trade shops counter culture compilation...(it was originally with a magazine called yeti on which he aslo covered waiting for a superman which can be downloaded here:

yeah it's possible to live up west but not on the westside of Dublin IMHO.I even remember Dano Bambi tryin' to get an Eastside thing going for Ringsedners but that never caught on...

all nowhere places that didnt exist apart from being villages 20 years ago. no urban structure/no neighbourhood/no history= no braggin' rights.

only people I ever heard talkin' bout the westside back in the day was Maynooth heads tryin' to get out of being called culchies!

I'm sure this will change over time but as of now I stand by the thory of the westside not existing..
