Wanna install the latest version of OSX on my mac book pro, but the dvd drive is kind of fucked I think, and won't do the install.
Is it possible to install the OS from my iMac onto the Macbook, and how?
thanks.

Use disk utility to create a USB image of the OS.dmg (you'll need an 8GB stick at least, it'll have to be formatted first) and boot from that. Have done it many times without fail.
