Well, that's essentially how I feel about life. Full of loneliness and misery and suffering and unhappiness, and it's all over much too quickly.

the depression thread in lifestyle has lots of good suggestions on it, if you're looking for any.

for me, something that makes me smile enough to split the sides of my face*, combined with healthy sleeping/eating/exercising/socialising is usually enough to get back on track. but i know the feeling, and i hope it passes.


* bizarrely, bruce springsteen's live version of rosalita on the first whistle test dvd does the trick. also: veronica mars episodes, this american life radio stuff, walking down my favourite streets in rathmines and portobello, buying stuff on ebay, and smoking on a bench near a duck pond. if it's not too bad, reading a good book or dancing to a great record or making something, but i'm not really able for any of that when i feel like shit.
