A colleague who just joined my team is from Waterford. She was heading home for the weekend so I asked her to get me a blaa. She got me a pack of six. I just had two, they were quite delicious! Tiocfaidh ár mBlaa.

They're slightly "maltier" for want of a better term than a standard floury bap. Not sure if I would come up with an new name for them but they are undeniably edible.

i'm in dublin alas...

i've holidayed in waterford for 30+ years though and the blaa is one of the things i always look forward to. portlaw bakery sliced pan is another. and the comeraghs. and the sea. and a pint bottle of bulmers in dunhill. (i never normally drink bulmers.) great county, not gone on the city though.
