2 x pairs shoes (one pair about 10-12 years old, one new)
2 x pairs runners (replaced every 2 years or so when they wear out)
Hiking boots (easily 15 years old and going strong)
Wellies (20 years old?)

1 pair Asics runners (wearing them since start of autumn)
1 pair of Vegetarian Shoes DM style shoes (bought about 2016)
1 pair Polish vegan Doc Martens style shoes (bought in early 2020's for half price of above shoes)

I only really wear the runners as my left heel has some undiagnosed issue which makes shoes uncomfortable.

like saying your have three shoes should mean you have 6 physical shoes in three pairs.

oh and a posh pair of ecco shoes I bought in Berlin. Wore them one day and my ankle paid was back with a bang. fucking things were expensive too. Just sat there unworn.

I was methodically building up shoe stocks last year and have only bought one pair of not wildly impressive dubarry ones this year. mostly between docs/eccos and on the other end of the scale the cheapest decathalon runners are comfortable to me but i just got 2 shoes of them last time i was there so i'm probably good till 26'. A lighter pair of eccos for spring possbily.

Apart from a few hats (l keep leaving them on the bus) and a Keffiyeh scarf, I think only clothes I bought in 2024 were socks and underwear.
Pleased about that.
Still have some unworn pants and at least one unworn shirt + some unworn T shirts. So I should be OK for a while yet.
