Currently I have 3, and I hope to have 4 by the end of the year.

Projections for next year are 6
2020: 7
2021: 7
2022: 6.5
2023: 8

The current breakdown is:
1 pair of formal, leather
1 pair of casual trainers
1 pair of walking shoe

The additional shoes at the end of the year will be 1 pair of casual leather shoes.

2019 should see the addition of a pair of boots (Wellington) and a pair of sandal shoes.

Forecasting beyond 2019 is difficult but it is anticipated that there will be a slow-down in shoe purchasing (by me), with a decline in shoe ownership in Q4 2022. With the long term implications of Brexit being clarified by the end of 2022, I believe there will be a significant increase in the purchase of shoes in early 2023.

I have four pairs. One pair of work shoes, incredibly beaten up and with no grip on the soles. One fancy pair for weddings. One pair of runners. And an uglier, comfier pair of trainers with flat soles only to be worn when injured.

A white house with a folly
2 pairs of black shoes (one pair suitable for interviews and funerals, the other good for the same plus office, dancing and weddings)
1 pair of fairly gammy runners
1 pair of hiking shoes (every day use)
1 pair of sandals
2 pairs of flip-flop things

I recently threw out two paid of shoes and a pair of sandals. Might buy new runner soon, will probably need new hiking shoes in autumn.

You're welcome!

One pair of doc martens
One pair of those waterproof shoes/trainers you get in camping shops.
Couple of pairs of converse and a couple of pairs of vans.

I only buy converse or vans if I see them cheap, never ever paid full price, but I'm always stocked up.

I've got an Imelda Marcos sized collection of shoes. I inherited them from a mate who died who was a snappy dresser. If only I wasn't so anti social I might get to wear them from time to time.
