unplug everything except memory, CPU, and video card. try again.
if there's still nothing, take the CPU out and try powering on again. if you hear beeps, it's probably a blown CPU. ditto for the memory. if nothing works, it could be the system board.

...until it eventually boots up properly.

Anyone have any ideas whats up or what needs replacing?
AVG,spybot and adaware showed nowt so Im guessing it isnt virus related

Power supply would be my guess.
I think squiggs sugested this before though. So nothing to add really.
Other than that is the line that leads me to think its power.
Do as magicbastarder says, unplug stuff, see if it can handle load.

then plug stuff back, see if it craps out.
