i'm guessing, pink ladies.

pink ladies are nice, indeed they are so they are.

I only like Granny Smiths.
Red apples are particularly shit.
But I still think your ok Donagh, afterall you didnt make those apples.

Green apples including Golden Delicious and Granny Smiths are past their peak, they are the Smnithwicks of their day.
Kirstie knows her stuff.......
The apples are not Pink Ladies as the tinge of red is differant.
Yes folks I sometimes dabble in the fruit game.

see Brian, this is the sort of thing a person who is SCARED of apples might say. Granny Smiths are the boring safe option, the sort your ma might buy, or golden delicious if she was feeling really adventurous. Red red apples I agree are gak and powdery, but pink ladies, fujis, galas etc are crunchy sweet goodness.

I urge you to expand your apple related horizons.

I think they could be braeburns, dem apples up there.

I DO know my apples, thanks. I think I eat about 15 a week. Filling, sweet, pretty much calorie free. An almost perfect foodstuff.

apple bread is VG. I wish we had nordy bread down here

Try the Farmers Market in Malahide of a Saturday or Howth of a Sunday for strange breads. And wild boar sausages. And all sorts of lamb and rosemary type pies.

There's a nordy type sells fruit and veg at both, has the NICEST Fujis evah!
