How do I set up a company? (1 Viewer)

A project I'm thinking of doing requires me to have a company, for legal reason, contracts etc.. Has anyone ever set one up, how is it doing and what authorities govern the process?
Any idea and suggestions would be great.

Check with your local enterprise board or Enterprise Ireland, and the companies registration office.

www.dceb.ie has a lot of info for Dublin City, but each region has its own enterprise board, who are generally good starting points.

If you only need a company in name only, a lot of what they offer won't be relevant to you, but you may learn stuff you didn't know you needed to know. You know, like. Ya know? And there's a good bit of info.
