Hey I was at a Silver Jews "show" once in NY as part of a Drag City showcase gig (I'm so cool). Yer man was backstage apparently too nervous or weird or screwed up or something to come up so some other dudes did the singing instead.

I'm totally expecting it to be a shambles. He's only doing it to pay off his rehab. But me and herself love them so we always said if they ever played anywhere remotely near us we would go.

I dunno. He seems to have cleaned himself up quite a bit. It's the first time he's left the States to do a tour in years and years and years. Wasn't the last time he played over this direction when he played in that forest down in Cork back in 1997 or something?
