Hi Fi speaker cables (1 Viewer)

nah it's the cable - i cut it too short for where the speaker needs to be, and in ehh 'encouraging' it along i've screwed up the connection. it's just awkward to move everything to fix it properly now, so wiggling does the job.

onkyo amp and kef coda speakers. can't think model of the amp. the speakers are really nice though.

can't go wrong with Onkyo - i have the TX SR 606

with some Monitor Audio Vector speakers -

don't have that vector sub though

i've an arcam amp, monitor audio speakers, and a marantz CD player.
i wouldn't go with marantz again - i bought it when i had cheaper speakers, and it's a bit harsh and trebly with the much better ones i have now.

he's german. he's spent about 25k on his hi-fi, even before this purchase, all secondhand.
and it sounds fucking divine.

bar the fact that he's big into trance.

i must ask him - i brought over a few CDs last time i was there.
he has a very understanding neighbour too.

his kit is mainly audionet stuff - not that well known here or in the UK, afaik.
