The ones who stayed in me gaff for about a week and came to the last GZ and all...
Well....
hey everyone this is Dave some of you know me as swash,some not at all cause
I got some addresses off eleanors list.Anyway heres the story- I was
visiting a house in milano,and in the early morning hours 4am,the
police/secret police raided the house and simultaneously we raiding 44 other
houses all over italy. the reason for the raids (other than blatant
harassment)was to arrest people suspected of engaging in illegal
activities,during the g8 protests that happened in Genoa more than a year
and a half ago.a total of 23 arrests were made. 9 of those are facing
serious charges (8-15 years!)I myself was sent to a deportation center,where I was incarcerated for a week(most people there being from the middle east
or africa are held for 2 months) after 3 days I was able to see a attorney
and a judge,I explained my situation.Which was that I was a tourist and had
only been in italy 3 days the night of the raid(italian law says you have to
apply for a visa within 8 days of entering italy) The judge was about to let
me go,when the police took her aside and said I could not leave,because of a
paper(in italian) I had supposedly signed,while in the immigration office
before my incarceration.after that it is clear they wonted to deport me
A.S.A.P. before I could see the judge again and prove my story.my next court
hearing is in a week ware the evidence will be shown to the judge.Its a big
headache as you can imagine... for the english version of the

I would like to arrange some benefits/benefit shows to raise funds for the
up coming trials of those arrested.

Craziest of all they deported him to New York, without his wallet or sleeping bag or anything, and he's not even from New York, he's from California.
