I'm no fan of old Josh here, but maybe it'd be somebody who reads this boards bag?
Independent Records are an amazing (Irish) label who have put out some great albums by Pernice Bros, Red House Painters, Knife In Water, Jubilee Allstars, Dot Creek and Stars of Heaven plus loads more.
Folk here, and elsewhere, often talk about taking on the charts and all the various ways this might be done, well here's some good old fashioned indie folks who actually have a damn good shot at it.
So anyhow maybe some people might be into it, or might know someone who would be, or might just be pretty chuffed to see something like Independent Records going top three!

Josh Ritter....heading for the top three....
So to all of you who’ve come to see Independent Records artists over the last few years, bought the records or just subscribed to this list for fun we have one big favour to ask.
We’re poised tangibly close to the top of the Irish charts (looking like Top Three) with the new Josh Ritter record ‘Hello Starling’.
We’re asking, if you, any of your friends, relatives, pets, enemies, cousins or parents were thinking of buying ‘Hello Starling’ soon, please do so before Thursday evening.
Road Records of 16B Fade Street, Dublin have signed copes for 16.99 available online at www.roadrecs.com, Tower Records have it for 17.99 and HMV where Josh played a stuffed instore on Friday have loads of it. Outside Dublin, it should be widely available but if you’re having problems you can buy it at Road online (www.roadrecs.com).
An Irish record company run by a small Springsteen fanatic and a big haired scientist from Idaho are up there this week with Sony and EMI. We think The Thrills and Mikey Joe have had enough time at top. *We’ll be up there needling them at the end of the week but how close can you take us to the top?
