Helen Love were never quite as good as Helen Love thought they were

All the singles are great, and most of these are collected on Radio Hits 1-3. The albums proper are ok, but a little long. They probably have about four songs in total that they mix together, borrowing bits from everywhere else to create the rest. This makes them sound derivative, but it's Helen Love so it's allowed.

I'd love to go and see her + I love @ilovehoovering

That was only my second time seeing her! I think she didn't do gigs for years until a bit of a comeback for a new album. I only have the one compilation album as well. Have saved some more on Spotify now.

Anyway, both gigs were great. For every song you just jump around, punch the air and shout something Ramones-y even if you don't know any of the words.
