Anyone ever built one? Just noticing an add for one in a mag there,they seem really cheap,but do you just end up with a cheap guitar put together poorly or are they worth it for the experience/knowledge that would come with building one?
Don't see me ever buying one myself but was just curious.

I know a few people have built them from sratch with varying amounts of success but surely for under a hundred quid you're gonna get some pretty shite pick ups and wood (ie everything important).

those prices are rediculous! its worth it alone for the custom headstocks you could have!

id much rather go down the other route and buy stuff off those proper guitar part websites..stewmac.com etc...
