16x12? There's a 6x12 in that pic and I've seen their 8x12 but never seen a 16x12.

Easy to have gear horn when there is someone else to lug it around!
Moose - that concotion with the gibson body and (I presume geddy Lee) jazz neck was an old favourite mix 'n' match of the Ox. A lot of his basses ended up in the bass centre in wapping in the early nineties. I could have picked up an original p-bass with a more modern (ie non-telecaster type headstock) neck done in purple paisley with a pink scratchplate if I had had £800stg at the time. Would have been a sweet heirloom and investment :-(. The nineties were weird for gear- everyone wanted new and fancier stuff. That aforementioned bass was actually cheaper than a new active fender j or sadowsky bass in the shop at the time.

Yeah I've seen a bunch of the Ox's similar basses. Here's a nice red reverse that belonged to him. I'd like one of them or an RD body with a jazz neck/pick ups.

Did you know the RD was an attempt by Gibson to build a custom bass for him but he didn't like the new shape at all.

G, it does look smaller alright, don't really know much about the non-reverse perhaps they were slightly different/stubbier shape?

I'd never seen one of those before. Gorgeous looking guitar.

I only like the bottom one. Dave Grohl was playing one a lot for a while,I think that could be the first place I saw one.
Pentagrams guitar player had one at the dublin gig a few weeks back.

Seen as it's been all very safe, non nude porn so far I thought I'd whip out some real manky, hardcore stuff!!

ENGL PowerBall, Marshall DSL100, Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, Peavey 5150 and an amp I built myself that's finished now.
