Well, the Gamestop bodysnatchers thing happened again.
I traded in some games, Tiger Woods and PD0, and the guy behind the counter started to ask me if they were any good. No real problem but if ever there was a person who should know if they are any good, you'd think it would be the guy running the Gamestop shop!
Then HE asked ME when Gears Of War was out and had I heard if it was any good.
I paused for a second and I was about to say "Shouldn't you know that?" but I could see a look of fear behind his melting smile. It almost said "please, mate, don't mention the obvious. I'm begging you."
I felt sorry for him and said I didn't know but the game looked good.
It was a sad moment. On so many levels.

In relation to the Gears Of War release date question, maybe he was hoping you'd say "March, I think?" to which he could reply "That's what YOU think, fucko!"

Be great to have done this in view of Gamestop staff in the run up to xmas.
