yeah the venue is ridiculous. can't see a thing unless youre up the very front. i think theyre knocking down some more of it though to make it less L-shaped.

thought the feck buttons sounded amazing though. cant wait for the album.

Album is pretty much everything they played at the gig.

In terms of the venue i heard they were knocking the door/stairway section, that would make a big difference.

Brilliant gig. I was right up the front so the sound and view was excellent!

yeah the L-shaped venue is a bit odd, but I guess that couldn't be helped given the nature of the building. What could be helped is the height of the fucking stage!!!! seriously, who designed the new whelans??? 2 stages that are both about half a foot off the floor. even if they do take out those stairs, you will still be able to see fuck all of the bands, just the back of some more heads.

music was good. venue was shit. so shit that I left thinking this wasn't a very good gig.

but after a period of quiet reflection I realised that they were actually good and that it was the venue spoiling the whole experience.
