I must check out some of the newer stuff. My definition of folk horror is a bit narrow. It has to be British & made in the 60's or 70's. It's quiet limiting.
Re casting the runes. (Really enjoyed it be the way, nice one for posting). Has there been other adaptations of that or has another movie /anthology series borrowed strongly from it? The whole plot seems very familiarSome good/interesting stuff appearing on youtube
The Loney is greatHave heard of a few of the mentioned books here but have only read the short The Lottery out of all of them.
Picked it up yesterday. Few chapters in. Liking the atmosphere and setting so far. Watched this earlier, have the Beasts DVD set for a couple of years but found them hit or miss so hadn't watched one or two episodes . This is a bonus feature on the set. Thought it was very good.
