awesome. weird to think a song about a despairing teen rejecting turning
into an adult now has sentimental value for folks deep into middle age.

actually this is one of my fave genres of song ever e.g.

ARTIFICIAL PEACE - Suburban Wasteland.
NIHILISTICS - Life's Process
HONOR ROLE - Purgatory (1986. pretty much an emo song but lyrics are amazing).

Not a favourite, but I just learned that Paul Young covered Love of the Common People after hearing Stiff Little Fingers' version

Always loved this cover of an overlooked Abba classic, and I'm not a usually a huge fan of operatic metal (maybe I should try some more?)
