'Go to college be a man what's the BIG* deal'

next week they are doing their version of Guilty Of Being White !

awesome. weird to think a song about a despairing teen rejecting turning
into an adult now has sentimental value for folks deep into middle age.

actually this is one of my fave genres of song ever e.g.
MT - Betray
ARTIFICIAL PEACE - Suburban Wasteland.
NIHILISTICS - Life's Process
HONOR ROLE - Purgatory (1986. pretty much an emo song but lyrics are amazing).

* fucking

Not a favourite, but I just learned that Paul Young covered Love of the Common People after hearing Stiff Little Fingers' version

The first version Paul Young released is a favourite of mine so I'll carry the burden of being on topic for you.

Always loved this cover of an overlooked Abba classic, and I'm not a usually a huge fan of operatic metal (maybe I should try some more?)
