Yep, its boring but pretty straighforward. Required by law for any sort of site work - building/ trades/ installation etc. Its basically a load of presentations on safety and a multiple choice test afterwards.

Done it twice. piece of piss. everyone passes. The first time I went to it was a sunday morning. Some guy arrived pissed from a night out, slept all the way through it and passed.

Yep pretty much what he said. Got 100% both times, the new longer version is easier but obviously more boring imo.

its kinda ridiculous, I've been studying Health and Safety for the last three years and still have to do this. Half the legislation that should be in place is still waiting to be passed, so people will have to do a new safepass when the legislation comes in..

It's only there so you can't sue your employer/site construction company. What's even more ridiculous is that being self employed I've to pay for it myself.
