uncomprimising, often downbeat show which very few people watched

watched em all again for the first time in maybe 5 years and
didn't realise how dark it gets towards the end. neil cycling
around with the garage opener....biff drinking from bill's mug

so sad!

didn't really like it, tho its way better than watching 'the pickup artist' or 'a shot of love'.

FAG is defo up in the top 5 tv drama's of all time, this is not an opinion.

bill's "prank call" where he pretends to be gordon's dad
so that some of the less athletic people (ie - him) can
get to pick the baseball team - amazing

the one thing that bugged me was the pop punk band
in the punk episode. seemed really out of place...and
the hunk getting into the flag - he'd already been
wearing a t-shirt with the image from pettibon cover for
'jealous again' in the third episode! someone fire the guy
in charge of continuity!

i really liked how the joint main character lindsey is a
complete asshole. she thinks she knows everything, and
makes shitty selfish decisions that affect everyone around
her. that's real talk

So true. It's none of your business Lindsay! To be honest, both Weirs are kind of annoying. Their dad is cool though.

My favourite character is definitely Bill. Cause you know once Bill leaves high school he's gonna be pretty sound. Best episode by far is Carlos the Dwarf.

the outright contempt for hippies in 1980s america
that runs through the whole show is great. as is..

- egging your own brother after he just got his sweets tooks
- 29 piece drum set
- "you know who else used to skip class...Jimi Hendrix...and now he's DEAD!"
- "Hello? No Steve Austin, I can't date you..hold on I'll just use my Bionic Ear...Owww - Not so loud!!!........ok mom you can use the phone"

agreed. bill = best character by far!
