So will it be any good?

Some nonse about the band needing more ambition... actually there's no detail about the gig at all, so Mr Lea is not all THAT psychic... I'm surprised at him. But more than that, I'm embarrassed for him.

Caught rappih

It'll be great, so great reviewers are reviewing it IN ANTICIPATION.

I must read the article so I know when the highlight happens.

We settlerheads are playing too. Easiest. plug. ever.

psychic reviewing is where it's at.
a few irish journalists have been caught with stuff like this.

it's like that TV show, "Latest edition"...you know, the one about that guy who runs an equal opportunity law firm and he can turn into any animal, but he's really an angel of god....

My, I just reminded myself of Billy there.

um

it's not a review. It's in a section called "Review" alright, but it's not listed as a "Live Review"

it doesn't mention any specific performance, it just talks about the band in general, and at the bottom it says "El Diablo play whelans tonight, somewhere else tomorrow etc etc"

good story though

i was actually going to add in pps Here's a preview of Rad-Alarms upcoming comment:

"Clowned"

but i didn't

aaannn the "review" is towards the back of the main paper

The times is quite thumped friendly today really. That revolver column in the ticket you've bitched about before is mainly about the mor festival and it gets one of their events of the week things as well.

Eh, not singling anyone out in particular I just remember a thread or two back a few months ago bashing the columnist because he mentioned the cliquey backslapping nature of the dublin indie scene.
