i was thinking, would it be beneficial to set up a "listen to the band" board where people could put posts telling people to:

• check out their new website?
• listen to their band?
• go to their next gig?
• buy their new release?

no?
it'd save these lads spamming all over the shop, like.

a lot of the music boards I visit have got separate New Choons type forums, but the main problem i can see is that after a while the forum gets infrequently used, so much so that you get redirect threads to the music forum after a while since no-one goes in there much.
