the amount of leching at pretty girls that goes on is pretty comical...i kept falling asleep in one i used to go to, used to really piss off my friends.i avoid them now.

Ah charlies in cork. Ive seen many a good man/woman in shocking states in that place. The worst is the walk home afterwards.

One time me and Mrs HMD decided to go into an early house while we were tripping off our nuts. We ended up in Hughes' next to the motor tax office. Stuck in between these 2 lads and 3 girls from town that wear cooked off their nuts and on the other side 6 lads from Cavan that were chewing the foreheads off themselves. The lads from town were telling the cavan lads that they'd been filming a porn movie and asked if they'd like a go with the girls in front of the camera. The cavan lads were mad to have a go until one of the dublin lads said they'd have to go down on him first, which upset the lads no end.

We had a good laugh.

But no as a rule, if i think it's a good idea to go to the early house i know I'm too fucked to go to the early house.

I've had exactly three early house experiences, all in charlies in cork. first time was deadly 'cos it was purely alcohol fuelled. at one stage there was me, a girl I barely knew, a pretty beaten up looking homeless guy and two massive aggro looking skinhead lads from belfast all sitting around a table having a great time. the next two times I didn't have the benefit of being blissfully/blind drunk, just chemically induced paranoia. pretty horrible shit.

I genuinely surprised that hanley hasn't posted on this thread; he's a charlies veteran!

Been to charlies 3 times and they've always turned me away while numerous tramps are panned out on the benches...they won't even give me takeaway!

Does anyone know if early houses open early on bank holidays or do they operate Sunday hours then?
