theres a festival on in doonbeg, small seaside place in clare next weekend, all music free in pubs and as its a beachy place im sure you can lash up a tent somewhere.

not mad about jazz but highlight of the line up is Skazz who come highly recommended with their old school ska as wekll as just generally havign a laugh and they play in three different pubs for free over the weekend.

we are heading down in the van on friday afternoon.

I was gonna go to this cos I love jazz, but there isnt actually any jazz bands playing it is all a rues for respectability, heh heh. I was gonna go but I have to stay away from drink now for at least 10 days, I would do more but I am committed to a pub on june 12 with the best guinness it would be rude not to - but until then my body is a wrecked temple.
Skazz actually organise this fest, they have a camp site there, right next to the beach and theyrae dead sound people, I have them playing in leitrim in august, Id say it willb e a great wee fest, but I just cant face it. yeh I know - lightwieght

Jaysus, I was a mess by the time we got home from this on Saturday night. Necked half bottle of wine after we left you Conor. Skazz were deadly, look forward to seeing them again.

messy messy night but great fun, was a bit worried when teresa fell off your mans shoulders and took out all the bands sheet music but they recovered well, skazz were class as was the welcome at this - good times. looking forward to getting back to clare for willie clancy.
