Death Metal (1 Viewer)

Anarcho punk get your hands on the hardcore holocaust peel session comps, I reckon you'll like that stuff although I'm sure how death metal they are.

Death metal is not for me. I see the attraction but just don't dig it. Maybe because I grew up listening to it and the metal mentality just turned me off. Just my two cents. Fantasy Metal now that's where it's at kids.

.even Gary Sloan likes death metal. I've seen him get all teary eyed at the opening strains of "From Beyond" by Massacre. honest.
.

no "e"

but yes,From Beyond is a great record, and the gig in the art college was great too. But I am incredibly selective about other bands.
And if the Stooges are rock and roll then Sum 41 are certainly not.
If I had to choose between my Stooges records and all my metal records,Stooges would win.

I've tried as best to erase them from my mind cos there has been some truly terrible stuff. Necrophagist or necro something was one of them. I thought Nile were fairly shit too. And theres another truly terrible one that I can't remember which is in itself a very good thing.
did you download either of those adorior records from the download blog thread? i'm not sure whether they come down on the side of 'death' or 'black', i'll have to plug some figures into various spreadsheets and submit the results for peer review.
