Covid-19 supermarket/panic buy updates (1 Viewer)

Never did it either. Seems like a sensible thing to do, but...

A smarter person could talk about viral load and suchlike.

The missus has recently taken to washing the tops of cans and bottles before drinking them. Again sensible as that's the bit that goes onto your mouth. Any pub worker will tell you Weils disease has always been a thing. It never worried you before, why bother now?

I feel irresponsible now.

I don't think there's anything wrong with people doing this kind of thing, especially especially if they are in households with other people who would be at risk of getting hit really badly from covid and that. Just I'm not really so it's something I haven't bothered with.

life's too short for that. if there's fallout or whatever on the bag of spuds then I'm probably already infected by the time they're home and getting wiped down.

Yeah, we did for a while, then I heard Luke O'Neill saying there was no point. Just decant what you can into other containers and put the rest away. Wash your hands after.
