yeah, the old man pubs on barrack street are generally the cheapest in the city if you're a stout drinker.

ah, the quinryan. everyone's favourite windows-boarded-up-looks-derelict-but-isn't pub. also, bradley's. ultra old man pub beside quinryan. everyone in there's at least 70. don't forget your old man suit! saw an old man hobble into the bathroom there once. he never came back out, which was a little odd..

don't forget the tower!

also, a well guarded cheap pint secret pub that's a little closer to town: callanan's. on sullivan's quay (or beside it?). dead sound staff as well. sometimes the bradley's and quinryan vibes are a bit deliverance-esque. not so in callanan's!

and yes, the hi-b is an essential visit. beware of the owner! !ninjaaaa

and yeah the franciscian easter beerfest rules as well. good times!

up to a couple of months ago the pool table in the quinryan took 20p pieces which you bought at the bar. don't know if they've changed with the times yet. i'll let you know friday. paddy's day drinking is scheduled to begin there tomorrow.
