Any advice?

May need to buy one tomorrow,so online is no use. It's gonna be used by kids for games/apps,and watching netflix. I suppose the possibility of additional storage would be good.
Don't really know much about them. Any advice appreciated.

whatever you do, just make sure you get to try it out first. some of them can be pretty flimsy and slow.

Me? Toshiba chromebook2 with a 1080p IPS screen. Very nice & did the job on a 2 week holiday vs windows 10 laptop that hardly got used.

Gary actually, but interesting to hear about yours too. As someone who travels quite a bit you've made realise that bringing a small light chromebook when travelling really makes sense over a heavier laptop that you don't need for most of the things you'd do while you're away from home.
