anyone got any tips on where to get a mac apart from buying from them direct online? anyone managed to buy one using some kind of finance option? looking to buy a mac book pro... anyone selling one by any chance?

well the regualr macbook will do most things the pro will do without look quite as cool. and a ram loaded mac mini is also a really good option for music stuff if you don't want to sell a kidney for a mac. reasonably portable too.

I got a macbook pro a few months ago for the moosic...great job...I bought off the Apple site...I got it for a student price off the apple site even though I'm not a student...never checked up on me...got 100 spons off or more.

I think you can get one by finance from PC world or the O2 shops (if you're an O2 customer, that is).

You can get brand new macs from apple.I got over 30% off mine and u still get the apple gaurentee, only thing is u have to order to UK/Northern ireland address.

do a google search fo REFURB macs... they are like the factory rejects, fine but with some minor fault.
