While changing the bridge on my SG fixing the intonation I was checking out set-up vids on youtube. I noticed that some people had the intonation screws facing the back of the guitar and some had them facing the neck.
I've always had it facing the back but for the sake of experimentation I turned it around and re adjusted it.
Does this make any difference?

It's an easy way of getting more adjustment if needed for the intonation but probably better to reverse a saddle if needed, I've always had them face the pickup as that's the side I'd be working from when setting intonation. Either way the saddles will do the same job whichever way you face it so it doesn't really matter which way you have it.

The only way it could make a difference is if your saddles on the bass side are cut deeper than the treble side, so when you turn it around the strings mightn't sit properly. I've swapped mine around a few times with out noticing though and it's never made much of a difference.
