A bunch of us home brewers are setting up a stand in The Franciscan Well for a day on Saturday 18th. We're going to be talking brewing to anyone who'll listen and we'll have lots of free samples to give out.

If you're at all interested in making your own beer or cider, or want to improve on past efforts, then come along for a beer and a chat. Hopefully we'll have a bloke selling homebrew gear as well.

(Slightly spammy flavour? Noooo, all in your head...)

will you be doing a beer and a chat presentation in dublin at all? was just on the irish craft brewers site for the first time today. getting a thirst for it :)

No plans at the moment -- it's mostly just a question of getting a willing venue. Hopefully if this goes well we'll be able to do something similar again in Dublin.

not to sound like a smart arse but at the bottom of the poster it show's you're sponsored by the bull and castle in christchurch. Wouldnt they be on for providing the dublin venue, seeing as they're already sponsoring a cork event?

either way the craftbrewer website's something well worth the look over. summer home brew here i come

We'd have to ask. And before that we'd have to decide if we want to run another one. And before that we'd have to run the first one :)

where is the franciscan well?
Here.
