it's not very gory...gorier than the first but so are most movies. it's decent, nothing amazing, nothing too bad - there were some problems with the studio blhablhalhb - tobe hooper wanted to make a comedy they wanted to make a horror so you get this instead.
texas chainsaw massacre: the next generation is ice cold. it's completely bananas. never seen number 3.

uh matthew macaungheghetyszys pneumatic leg....the guy in the limo that shows up at the end and his chest is covered in weird rings all equals amazing.

i like the second one. dennis hopper freaking out at a log with a chainsaw is just ridiculous as is the whole fair ground hide out shit...but i don't think seriousness was the point.

Very good.

Best part: - going into the toilet afterwards and finding that somebody had done a great big poo in the urinal.
