For the record:
Yes, I like to look at Thumped and yes, perhaps that sentence was influenced by the fact that I read the Tycho Brahe post. That does not invalidate the point, however; and neither is Thumped the only place where those comparisons have been made.
I was not claiming the comparisons as my own, merely agreeing with them. They're good comparisons and helpful for a reader who might want to know what the band sound like and whether or not they would be interested in purchasing the release.


On the clunky sentence question we'll have to agree to disagree. Personally, I like it but then again I wrote it. In fairness though, you did mistranscribe it.

That's kinda missing the point snitch, lee said that the tycho brahe album had been compared to tori amos etc. , would u rather he said what comes on the record company press release or state the comparisons that have been made by objective listeners?

It's not as if he said a shedload of bands weren't interested in playing abroad when one of 'em is off to the US and three or four are playing Europe later this year.

The fact that thumped was referenced was sorta of amusing really and thats about it, and in fairness the references were fairly general as Lee said. every time someone says Large Mound ROCK you wouldn't say they were poaching from Thumped, its just a fact!

Well..... I think Lee as a Jounalist needs to look for "external" opinions and has all the rights to get them on Thumped since it's a public board

On the other hand, musicians here might find interesting "internal" points of view: it would be nicer and more morally correct if Lee joined our discussions and contributed to them rather than just using them as a free font of information...
