Word from my friends down south is that local legends Boa Morte have signed with Shoeshine Records in Scotland. Norman Blake heard a copy of their unreleased album and urged Teenage Fanclub drummer Francis McDonald, who owns Shoeshine, ring the boys straight away and sign them up! We'll all get to see them supporting Joan Of Arse in Whelans in April, so a chance to see what all the fuss is about.

i remember them down in cork, i was exhausted and kept falling asleep during theirs set which the lovely celloist kept laughing and telling me about. she was very lovely. it was quite embarrasing though. but she was lovely.
