Anyone else get this? Despite all the hype and great reviews, I think it's TERRIBLE. Going straight onto ebay so it is.

I've been dipping in and out of this over the past few days. It's big and dumb and explode-y but I'm having a lot of fun with it. Very cinematic too - some of the set-pieces seem like they're straight out of The Rock or something.

Hate the dubbed voices on the FMV though.

wish there was a 360 version... have to wait for Far Cry for my FPS needs instead.

i have to say i'm loving this game...it's not easy, it's very athmospheric and you can blow up practically everything.

why don't you like it Johnnyc ?

There's a few things I don't like about it. The whole "blow everything up" angle was really pushed but that idea is brought down in the first few seconds of the game. You're in a room, with two big-fuck-off guns, but you can't wreck the gaff. Not even the table!

Also the AI of the bad guys/your team is really sucky at times. I once witnessed two guys (one good 'un, one bad 'un) stand back to back, firing away for about a minute before the realised that an opponent was standing RIGHT BEHIND THEM.

The environments feel really confined too. Like Medal Of Honour on the PS1 or something. Almost "on the rails" stuff.

And one of my all time pet hates - YOU CANNOT SKIP THE SHIT CUTSCENES.

Me no likey this game.
