Yeah, they definitely werent assholes who got jobs as bouncers, but it was definitely the biggest bouncer presence Ive ever seen at a gig, they were walking around the whole fuckin time lookin for people to be doing something they didnt like

Didn't see many Eirecoreans at the avo gig, but it was good craic. Fair play to the locals for coming in for the bands even though it was a cracking day outside. The train home was about as civilised as 4 old men drinking a tray of dirt cheap German lager in under 3 hours could hope to be. Great day all around, wish we could have stuck around for the evening gig. Thanks again to Daniel and everyone else who had a hand in the festivities.

Had a good time at this, it was great to finally play Galway and force our way into Dan's good books!

Pity Mass Extinction pulled out as they were the one band I was really excited about. Enjoyed Beanz on Toast though and the bit I saw of Complan. Tunguska were great as well, drummers a fukkin powerhouse!

what happened to Karen?

At the end of Tunguskas set a very drunk Meat threw his head back and accidentally caught Karen on the nose, breaking it. No bother to her though, Karen being Karen drove home at 3 in the morning as planned and we spent all yesterday afternoon waiting in the A+E to be told that the doctors didn't really know what was wrong. So now she has to go get another check up with a nose specialist or something.

Put a bit of a downer on the night but hey...shit happens!

Great day, all the bands i saw were deadly, De Novissimis were band of the night for me so fuckin heavy well wrecked at the end of it, Again thanks to Dan for having us down.
