How about you just 'publish' it online as a PDF file?... You could do the design\layout same as with a paper magazine and then people could either read it onscreen or just print it out themselves if they want a printed copy (most people have some access to a printer either at home or in work, don't they?...) And if the intention is to make some money out of it you could set up a paypal account or something like that and get people either to donate or else pay a fixed fee per issue download.

Sounds like a brilliant idea.

That pdf idea sounds deadly, I've seen it work pretty well before with kayaking mags. If yas need any photos taken give us a shout.

Anyways has anybody had a look at the zero tolerance mag? I missed the last issue but am waiting patiently on the latest.

I thought the idea behind the pdf was to save on printing costs. the articles should be put up here on thumped too I reckon.

Charge a €1 for the PDF file. Money could go to Pete and to the writers of the articles.

Put the articles up on the website after a couple of months.

There are plenty of people able to write some good stuff. Do it monthly and it could be reasonable to expect €100 a month.

Just needs someone to go and get the content together. And for people to actually write something.

The only way to remain truly independent is to not have ads, but unless you're loaded, you'll have to have them. And to do interviews you generally have to deal with PR people too.

I don't think it needs to make any money for Pete, he's been looking for content for the site for ages, you guys wanna do a mag. Just combine them. Simple as. If it's a success then think about trying to make money from it.
