I still have my Lime Lizard tapes stowed away in a box somewhere. Funny, Blood Sausage didn't really go anywhere after that.

Why don't the people thinking about doing a magazine do some articles for thumped and see how that goes, then if loads of people think your are great go with the zine/magazine. Sorta test the water like. Thumped has huge viewing figures already so you'd have a gauranteed audience.

I want to see at least one article from each of yas by the end of last month.

by the by setting up a magazine is insanely hard and difficult and costly, if you get it right *cha-ching* but if not.... off the top of my head some of the issues you can encounter are

• paying for your first print run, costs shit loads, a lot of printers won't give you credit cause they expect you too fold anyhow so it's off to the bank for you... this will probably be true of issues 2 and 3 as well because...

solution: use the photocopiers and staplers at work

How about you just 'publish' it online as a PDF file?... You could do the design\layout same as with a paper magazine and then people could either read it onscreen or just print it out themselves if they want a printed copy (most people have some access to a printer either at home or in work, don't they?...) And if the intention is to make some money out of it you could set up a paypal account or something like that and get people either to donate or else pay a fixed fee per issue download.
