first issue on ...records is the debut relaease from chokchai 3k battery
here's the bumph:
Please forward this to anyone who might be interested.
Chokchai 3K Battery: When it starts to play, small children pay attention and then resume their activities with even greater intent; it’s almost possible to smell them becoming more intelligent. Their older counterparts, who believe that they know who they are, make an expression of disgust, of irritation and then of abject terror; then they explode.
With only the tools of the ‘rock and roll’ artisan (and a couple of household items), Chokchai 3K Battery seeks to plumb the void at the heart of the universe and in the heart of every human being, trying to fid a key to unlock the secrets of Mother Nature’s violence and of her chaotic beauty. It begins in the mess that 'classic rock' leaves behind; Chokchai 3K Battery makes good use of the things that it finds.
Chokchai 3K Battery is a disconnected limb of a fragmentary worldwide anarchist society of individuals, blindly seeking the ur-language that will re-unite the tribes of humanity.
Chokchai 3K Battery has made a record of baby-steps and half-truths entitled ‘Cyclone Bones’, available for purchase. The record features the performance by the group at the ‘Winter’ festival at the Project arts centre and is handsomely dressed in unique, handmade covers. The record is currently stocked in Road Records of Fade Street, Dublin; retailing at £9.99. All proceeds go to the furtherment of the cause. There is no hope.
The group: Paul Condon; Brian O’Shaughnessy; Diarmuid Mac Diarmada
With guest appearances from: John Dermody; Juergen Simpson
Chokchai 3K Battery: Cyclone Bones
1.Choo-choo fighting postman; 2. Winter, sugar, bones; 3. T.N.T kid chocolate; 4. Cobra iron poison
