Yo,

Can I get a bank draft from any bank or does it have to be with the bank I am affiliated with i.e Bank of Ireland?

Bank of Ireland wouldnt do a draft for me recently, for dollars, am with the AIB.. so I reckon go to your own bank. Also remember they have a charge on doin' a draft for ya.

You will have to go to Bank of Ireland to get one..Although you could get a postal order if it's out of the way?

Another random banking question. On a statement if there is a charge but you can't remember what it could possibly be, is there a way to check? Like there is a short name of the place where I supposedly spent 10.80 a few weeks ago but it's very strange name. Like I am sure I did buy something some where but not from any place with this name. I googled it but nothing came up.

I use telephone banking and ask to speak to an operator. They might have more info.
